ASSESSMENT AND EXAMINATIONS Nursery to IX Class : To ensure the "quality of education" The CBSE has revised his policy regarding assessment structure, examination and issue of report cards for the session 2017-18 onwards. The detail of components of the Scheme are explained below:

A. Co Scholastic Activities : For he holistic development of the student, co-curricular activities in the following areas be carried out in CBSE affiliated schools by the teachers and will graded term-wise on a 3-point gradign scale (A=Outstanding, B=Very Good and C=Fair). The aspect of regularity, sincere participation, output and teamwork be the generic criteria for grading in the following co-scholastic activities.
Work Education - Work Education refers to skill-based activities resulting in goods or services useful to the community.
Art Education (Visual & Performing Art)
Health and Physical Education (Sports/Marital Arts/Yoga/NCC etc.)
B. Discipline : The students will also be assesed for the discipline which will be based on the factors like attendance, sincerity, behaviour, values, tidiness, respectfulness for rules and regulations, attitude towards society, nation and other, Grading on Discipline will be don* term-wise on a 3-point grading scale (A=Outstanding, B=Very Good and C=Fair).
C. Subject Enrichment Activities :
These are subject -specific activities aimed at enhancing the understanding and skills of the students. These activities are to be carried out throughout the term, however, they should be evaluated at the term-end.
2. Class X :
The CBSE has restored the Board Examination for Class X and revised the assessment structure and examination for class X from Academic Year 2017-18 onwards.
